A fantastic opportunity for an experienced IP Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded Intellectual Property team handling complex and high-profile disputes for an impressive client base.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Solicitor to join a thriving and ambitious IP team in London. Working closely with experienced Partners and a talented team of specialist Lawyers, you will advise on a broad range of intellectual property disputes and litigation matters. The caseload will include trademark disputes, passing off claims, copyright matters, design rights disputes and patent-related issues. You will take ownership of a varied and high-quality caseload, advising a diverse client base that includes businesses operating within the sports, fashion, retail and consumer brands sectors. In addition to managing your own matters, you will play an active role in supporting and mentoring junior lawyers, whilst contributing to the continued growth and success of the team through networking and business development activities. This role offers excellent exposure to high-profile work and the opportunity to build your reputation within a highly respected IP practice.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of five years PQE and a strong background in intellectual property disputes and litigation. You will possess excellent technical knowledge across trade marks, copyright, design rights and passing off matters, together with strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Candidates should be confident managing their own caseload, developing client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice. Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine enthusiasm for business development are essential. Previous experience supervising junior lawyers would be advantageous.
