Overview
I’m currently working for a Central London based tech consultancy of over 70 years who are looking for a Python Developer to come and join their growing team on a hybrid basis. The company is a serial award‑winner and provides consultative bespoke tech services to industries such as healthcare, insurance, pensions, energy and sport across the UK and beyond. They are a growing development team of roughly 20 in total size, split across their 3 offices.
In this role you will be working on the continued development of one of their key platforms. You will mainly work on the backend with Python (and ideally C which is also used), developing new features in an Agile environment while also working extensively with AWS/Azure. You’ll work collaboratively with different teams across the business and also get the platform to progress and take more responsibility within the business – something they really encourage across their tech teams.
Technical Requirements
- Strong Python experience across latest versions.
- Ideally have worked with C which is also used across the business.
- Good working experience with Cloud technologies: AWS or Azure.
- Other technologies include WebAPIs, Testing, CosmosDB, CI/CD.
- Good collaboration skills and ability to communicate amongst different teams.
- Happy working in an environment where you have autonomy and control over your day.
- Keen desire to learn new technologies and progress within the business.
Salary & Benefits
- GBP 70,000: GBP 75,000.
- 10:15 Discretionary Bonus.
- Pension: 4 which can rise to 10.
