HSE Recruitment is working with a recycling business in Nottingham who are seeking a HSE Compliance Officer to cover two sites in Nottingham.
Reporting into a Director you will have the freedom and autonomy to improve processes and standards across the company.
Being a small company there is a flat structure and the ability to get things done quickly.
We are seeking a hands‑on, dynamic, roll‑your‑sleeves‑up approach: someone who will be innovative, proactive, pragmatic and come up with cost‑effective solutions to problems.
Risks on site include: working at height, machinery, large cranes with grabbers, lorries and workplace transport, contractor control and confined space.
- What We Are Looking For
- NEBOSH certificate qualification as a minimum.
- Experience across waste and recycling, manufacturing or production, or a similar risk profile.
- WAMITAB would be desirable along with EA permitting knowledge.
- Must be hands‑on, able to build trusted relationships.
- Dynamic, go‑getter who can get stuck in.
- Down to earth, proactive and pragmatic person who can provide simple and usable cost‑effective solutions.
This is a Monday‑Friday site based role with working hours 8am‑4pm.
Salary on offer: GBP 45,000 to GBP 60,000 depending on experience.
