Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the on‑site HR presence within one of the manufacturing units.
  • Manage attendance, absence, holidays, and payroll accuracy.
  • Conduct return‑to‑work meetings, disciplinary hearings, and employee relations cases.
  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, and probation reviews.

  • Provide visible, approachable HR support on the shop floor and management.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven HR experience in manufacturing, logistics and distribution, or similar industrial settings (2+ years).

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
  • Approachable, pragmatic, and confident dealing with both line managers and shop floor colleagues.
  • Able to work independently and hit the ground running.

This is not a development role; it requires someone who can step straight in and deliver hands‑on HR support. If you thrive in operational HR, enjoy being visible on the shop floor, and want to make a real impact during a critical stabilisation period, we would love to hear from you.
