We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support a major six‑month stabilisation programme within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on‑site HR presence within one of the manufacturing units.
- Manage attendance, absence, holidays, and payroll accuracy.
- Conduct return‑to‑work meetings, disciplinary hearings, and employee relations cases.
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, and probation reviews.
- Maintain HR systems and training records, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Provide visible, approachable HR support on the shop floor and management.
What We're Looking For
- Proven HR experience in manufacturing, logistics and distribution, or similar industrial settings (2+ years).
- Strong background in hands‑on employee relations, absence management, and supporting weekly payroll.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
- Approachable, pragmatic, and confident dealing with both line managers and shop floor colleagues.
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running.
