About The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our nighttime maintenance team.
Operating on a fixed
Sunday: to: Thursday night schedule, you will carry out essential electrical maintenance, system updates, and urgent repairs during non: peak operational hours to keep the airports critical infrastructure running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial work on power systems, lighting networks, distribution units, control panels, and backup systems during low: traffic night windows.
- Conduct rapid fault: finding and emergency repairs to clear critical system defects before morning airport operations commence.
- Complete detailed logs, work orders, and safety documentation via a digital maintenance management tool (CMMS / handheld device).
- Ensure strict adherence to safe isolation procedures, issuing Permits to Work and executing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) under airside safety regulations.
- Collaborate with night duty shift managers and external contractors to ensure complex electrical tasks are completed on schedule.
Essential Qualifications And Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or C and G equivalent).
- BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Demonstrated electrical maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments.
