- Weekdays: £13.67 per hour

The Role:
Oakland Care Group is seeking friendly, reliable, and professional Hosts to join our team at our residential home in Littlehampton. As a Host, you will play an essential part in delivering a high-quality hospitality service to our residents. You will help create a warm, welcoming dining experience, support meal service, maintain cleanliness in dining and lounge areas, and ensure residents receive attentive, person-centred support during mealtimes and throughout the day. This is a rewarding, people-focused role where you will contribute directly to residents' comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional hospitality service to residents during mealtimes and refreshments.
- Assist with meal preparation, plating, serving, and clearing.
- Ensure dining rooms, lounges, and service areas are clean, organised, and inviting.
- Support residents in a polite and respectful manner, ensuring their dietary needs and preferences are understood and met.
- Maintain stock of refreshments, cutlery, tableware, and hospitality supplies.
- Prepare snack trolleys and drinks throughout the day as required.
- Follow food hygiene standards and infection control procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the care and kitchen teams to ensure smooth dining experiences.
- Uphold the home's high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
- Maintain accurate documentation where required (e.g., food temperature checks, cleaning records).
- Attend training, meetings, and supervision sessions as required.
- Comply with all health and safety, safeguarding, and organisational policies.
