Are you a reliable telehandler operator looking for a short-term contract on the coast? We are seeking an experienced driver to provide holiday cover on a busy new build housing site in Hornsea. If you are available for an immediate, short-term stint and have a proven track record on residential sites, we want to hear from you.
The Role
This is a fast-paced role supporting the site team while their permanent operator is away. You will be responsible for keeping the site moving and ensuring trades stay supplied.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a telescopic handler to move materials across a live housing site.
- Loading and unloading deliveries and ensuring materials are stored safely.
- Distributing bricks, blocks, and timber to loading bays for various trades.
- Performing daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining the machine's cleanliness.
- Working closely with the Site Manager to prioritize tasks and maintain safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card (with the Telehandler category).
- Previous experience working on new build housing sites.
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
- A proactive approach to site safety and efficiency.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Reliable transport to the Hornsea area.
