An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in an amazing hospital based in the Charlwood, Surrey area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. This is a low and medium secure hospital specialising in treating male patients aged 18+ who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and who will benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties:- Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
- Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
- Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
- Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
- At a more senior level, you'll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
- Strong team working skills
- A high level of self motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to GBP37,500 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
