This inviting and creative specialist school is currently seeking a trainee teacher to support learning across KS2 and 3. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a team that is listened to, respected and valued. This school is highly regarded and has grown year on year since it opened in 2015. The school currently supports 70+ pupils with an ASD diagnosis and/or associated conditions. Learners that attend this school are happy and content and the school is committed to offering all students continuity and a place to thrive. Pupils can play freely outside or choose a quiet space indoors; their individual needs and interests are echoed in their school experience.
The school is looking for an inspiring trainee teacher to join their school on a full-time, term time only basis. This role is needed ASAP on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for supporting SEN learners on a 1:1 basis in a small class environment, supporting the delivery of all subjects in the broad and balanced curriculum, and working with the Senior Leadership Team. This role is based on a 2-year training programme; once you have completed your training you will move into the senior teaching team.
