We are partnering with a world-renowned, global manufacturer to find a proactive Material Planning Analyst to join their team in Desford. Contract Length: 12-month contract

Location: Desford

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Mon to Thur 08:00-16:30 and Fri 08:00 - 13:30

Pay Rate: Up to GBP18.90 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating delivery and shipping schedules to ensure materials hit the facility floor right on time.
  • Diving into root-cause analysis to fix supplier performance issues and coming up with alternative manufacturing methods when needed.
  • Analysing parts schedules, converting requirements into piece parts, regulating inventory levels, and issuing work orders.
  • Leading the implementation of engineering changes for efficient product manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications or experience in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • The ability to use and troubleshoot MRP, Lognet, and MTS systems.
  • A grasp of production scheduling, capacity management, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills paired with top-tier communication and teamwork abilities.
