Highbridge Up to A GBP 50,000 + Benefits Package Monday to Friday Days. Quality Engineer required for a successful and growing construction product manufacturing company offering long term secure employment with career progression in a very friendly and supportive working environment.

The Quality Engineer position will suit experienced candidates with knowledge of manufacturing, product quality and product installations. You will spend most of your time in the company’s office and factory (90%) with trips to some selected product installation sites (10%). You will solve problems, improve processes and help to deliver right-first-time quality for every customer. The company is renowned for providing bespoke high-end construction products of exceptional quality. In this varied and challenging role, you will gain exposure to full product lifecycles. You will report directly into the CEO and further career progression is available.

The Quality Engineer Role:

  • Ensure the quality of product from initial design through to final installation working across every department and seeing the visible impact of your decisions in real time.
  • Lead root cause investigations using tools such as CAPA, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa and DMAIC.
  • Identify recurring defects, analysing patterns and driving lessons learned into future work.
  • Define quality standards as well as develop inspection plans for key production and installation milestones.
  • Carry out random in process and final inspections in both factory and site based environments.
  • Support the introduction of new products, materials and manufacturing methods.

The Quality Engineer:

  • Experienced quality engineer from manufacturing, construction or installation.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems and quality tools.
  • Will ideally hold a relevant technical qualification.
