Our client is a UK‑based engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of high‑performance components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Due to continued development of their products and demand they are now looking for a skilled and practical Test and Assembly Technician to join their growing team. The Role

As a Test and Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in the assembly, inspection and functional testing of UAV components and sub‑assemblies. You will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure products meet exacting quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble UAV components and sub‑assemblies using engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Carry out functional testing and record accurate test data.
  • Diagnose faults and support root‑cause investigations on failed assemblies.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering teams to support product improvements and development.
  • Maintain component traceability and production documentation.
  • Follow quality, safety and ESD procedures at all times.

  • Experience in aerospace, motorsport, defence, robotics, automotive, electronics manufacturing or UAV sectors.
  • Electromechanical or electronics assembly experience.

  • HNC/HND or equivalent engineering qualification.
