This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) offering a starting salary of £24,000. A salary of up to £25,844 may be offered to candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience.
In this rewarding and varied role, you will deliver person-centred support using both harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches. Working as part of an integrated healthcare team, you will support individuals experiencing substance misuse issues, low-level mental health needs, and wider health and wellbeing challenges, helping them build resilience and prepare for release back into the community.

- Delivering 1:1 sessions and group programmes on substance misuse and low-level mental health topics
- Providing harm reduction advice and health and wellbeing guidance
- Supporting service users with release planning and continuity of care into the community

You will also bring:
- Experience (or a strong interest) in substance misuse, mental health or wellbeing services
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using IT and case management systems
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
- Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries and confidentiality
This is an opportunity to do work that truly matters, supporting people to reduce harm, improve their wellbeing and take positive steps towards a healthier future. If you want a role where you can make a real difference every day, we would love to hear from you.
