The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 3 Data Center Engineer to join our critical infrastructure team in West London. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring 100% uptime for a premier data centre facility.
Essential Requirement: Critical Experience (IMPORTANT)
Please Note: To be considered for this role, candidates must possess prior experience working within a Critical Environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on critical plant equipment (Chillers, CRAC units, UPS systems, Generators, and Switchgear).
- Incident Response: Act as a first responder to site alarms and system failures, ensuring rapid resolution to maintain site SLA requirements.
- Shift Excellence: Work a Continental Shift Pattern (rotating days and nights), providing 24/7 coverage and site safety.
- Compliance: Maintain rigorous site logs, ensuring all work complies with Health and Safety regulations and site-specific SOPs/MOPs/EOPs.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- Level 3 City and Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
- Previous Critical experience.
