Head First is recruiting female day and waking night Support Workers to join the support team of a 62 year old gentleman with an acquired brain injury, living independently in Hawkhurst.

He has a warm sense of humour, values the relationships he builds with his team, and is committed to remaining active and independent.

You will provide essential support to meet the clients care needs and support them with community access and novel experiences.

You will have extensive training to support you in the role.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someones life, with full training provided.

Pay and Shifts

The shift patterns are on a four week rolling Rota of shifts.

  • Permanent part: time : 6 days shifts every 4 weeks (Wednesday and Saturday) 09.30 : 18.15
  • Maternity cover part: time : 7: night shifts every 4 weeks (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) 21:30:07:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care as the client prepares for bed.
  • Support the client with light domestic tasks in the morning.
  • Work as part of a four AEUR'weekly rolling rota.
  • Flexibility to cover sickness, annual leave, and occasional shift extensions.
  • Provide waking night support, including monitoring and supporting the client with Bi PAP non: invasive ventilation.
