Job Description (Vehicle Technician/Commercial Vehicle/Automotive)
You’ll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring our buses remain roadworthy, dependable and ready to keep communities moving.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults
- Carrying out routine servicing and 28-day inspections
- Completing vehicle repairs and maintenance work
- Supporting MOT preparation in line with DVSA Guide to Road Worthiness standards and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship at all times
- Person specification (Vehicle Technician/Commercial Vehicle/Automotive)
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about keeping vehicles operating safely and efficiently.
- You’ll Ideally Have
- A Level 3 NVQ qualification (or equivalent City and Guilds qualifications)
- A full driving licence
- A flexible approach to working hours
- Experience working on buses or coaches (desirable but not essential)
- PCV licence, or the willingness and ability to obtain one
