The Role
- Delivering and collecting goods as part of a UK distribution operation
- Loading vehicles to match the order of delivery drop‑off points
- Planning and driving routes to ensure on‑time deliveries
- Unloading goods and obtaining proof of delivery signatures
- Issuing invoices and accurately updating delivery, vehicle, and drivers' hours records
- Recording mileage and fuel usage
This role involves 2:3 nights out per week. The position is based on a 48‑hour working week, with overtime expected.
About You
We are looking for a professional driver who takes pride in their work and strives to deliver a first‑class transport service. You must have:
- A current Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
- A valid Digital Tachograph card
- A Driver CPC card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience (essential)
- A positive, efficient, and self‑motivated attitude
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
