Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs?
We are seeking a dynamic KS3 Teacher to join a specialist school near Guildford (Effingham, Surrey).
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape the Nurture program, providing individualised support and creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for students with ASD and other complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students aged 11–16 who have ASD and other complex or anxiety-related needs.
- Create a nurturing and supportive environment that helps students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
- Be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to ensure that students receive the best possible care and education.
Qualifications
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with a proven track record of successful teaching.
- A passion for working with students with complex needs and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
- The ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and understanding manner.
- A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
