An excellent brand new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager for a children's home based in the Grantham, Lincolnshire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. This is an amazing children's care service that provides caring, supportive homes for children in the North West and Midlands, focusing on their wellbeing, personal growth, and development in a safe and nurturing environment.
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young People or equivalent): working towards Level 5 or willing to enrol.
Responsibilities- Support with the setup and development of a new children's home
- Assist in leading and supporting a motivated staff team
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Support recruitment, staff development, and supervision processes
- Contribute to effective budget and resource management
- Promote a child-centred culture focused on safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes
- Experience working in a children's residential setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and children's needs
- Leadership potential with excellent communication skills
