This temporary, ongoing opportunity would suit an English Teacher who explains ideas clearly, adapts lessons to different starting points and helps students build confidence in the subject.
The Role
- Position: English Teacher
- Pay: GBP140:GBP220 per day, depending on experience and assignment
- Location: Gosport, Hampshire
- Setting: Further education college
- Start date: ASAP
- As an English Teacher, youll deliver engaging lessons, assess students work and provide feedback that helps them progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach English lessons in line with the colleges programme.
- Adapt teaching to support students with different needs and attainment levels.
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and work with colleagues to support students.
What Were Looking For In An English Teacher
- A relevant teaching qualification, such as QTS, QTLS, PGCE or an appropriate FE teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English to secondary or post:16 learners.
- GCSE English or Functional Skills English teaching experience would be beneficial.
- Strong subject knowledge, organisation and safeguarding awareness.
