Are you a skilled Pattern Maker or Bench Joiner with experience in composite materials, metalwork, and woodworking? We're looking for a talented individual to join our Manufacturing Materials team in a challenging and rewarding role. If you have an eye for detail, a passion for precision, and experience working with both manual and CNC equipment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Construct patterns and moulds from metal, wood, and composite materials based on detailed drawings and CAD data.
- Operate CNC programming machines to complete assigned tasks.
- Follow manufacturing instructions to carry out day-to-day production requirements.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are stored safely.
- Liaise with customers and contractors as needed to support project requirements.
- Contribute to research and development tasks when required.
- Minimise waste and ensure all waste materials are disposed of in compliance with company procedures.
- Follow stock control procedures as instructed by the Pattern Shop Manager.
- Keep the work environment organised, ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of composites, woodworking, and metalworking techniques.
- Experience operating machines like sanders, circular saws, band saws, mills, and lathes.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Experience in CNC programming is preferred but not essential.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing top-quality work.
