Salary: GBP48,000 – GBP53,000

Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, plus 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Lead loss elimination and process optimisation across packaging and processing lines
  • Reduce stoppages, changeovers, waste and variability through data‑driven problem solving
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and ensure lines run to standard
  • Train and coach technicians and line teams on root cause analysis and basic conditions
  • Support digital and automation projects to improve performance and consistency
  • Drive OR and DBNR improvements and share best practices across lines
  • Act as deputy for the CI Manager when required

Qualifications

  • Strong FMCG manufacturing knowledge in processing and packaging
  • Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering background with hands‑on problem‑solving ability
  • Skilled in data analysis, statistics and technical troubleshooting
  • Experience with FI, AM, PM, Q, PD and ICMS tools
  • Ability to design processes, optimise manpower and reduce NVAA
  • Strong project management and FMEA capability
  • Confident trainer, coach and cross‑functional collaborator
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of manufacturing financial KPIs
