My client works in the water industry delivering projects for a national client base. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- At least 2-5+ years' experience in a similar position
- NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant subject
- Experience within the water industry desirable
- Can understand and read CAD drawings and sketches (AutoCAD and Revit)
- Background in Mechanical Engineering and projects
- Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills
The Project Engineer role will involve:
- Designing and delivering process projects
- Managing project delivery from sales to client handover
- Working to client specifications and expectations
- Overseeing deadlines, budgets and timescales
- Providing technical controls expertise
- Some travel to attend customer meetings and site visits
