Field Sales Executive Scotland ideally located in G, EH, KY postcode areas. Basic negotiable up to circa GBP 35000 per annum plus Bonus, typical VW Golf Hybrid tax efficient Company Car, Business Miles Paid, Smart Phone, Laptop.

Role covers Glasgow, Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Glenrothes, St Andrews. Living central to the territory is ideal. You will inherit and manage an established customer base of accounts in which you will continue the development of business along with new business, managing your own diary with approximately 4 days per week travelling to visit customers and working from a home office approximately 1 day per week.

Responsibilities

  • Visit customers to build on existing relationships and develop new relationships in order to secure existing business, identify new sales opportunities for account penetration and promote our client’s products.
  • Promote a broad range of products, most major leading brands in their sector, as part of a leading distributor in the UK.
  • Work to achieve a target and file reports to the office detailing activities on a regular basis.
  • Receive initial induction, product training and ongoing support; technical support will be available to assist you and your customers when required.
  • Maintain and grow sales within the territory, managing your diary and travel as required, with a flexible approach to field-based work and no weekend working (roles may offer additional holiday options, pro rata).

Person Specification

  • Background in external, field-based sales as a Sales Representative, Sales Executive or Account Manager, having managed a regional geographical territory.
  • Ability to learn quickly, think on your feet, be bright and cheerful with an outgoing personality.
  • Self-motivated, driven to succeed, able to form relationships with customers quickly, effective communicator, team player yet able to operate independently.
