Im working with a brilliant casual dining business thats looking for an exceptional General Manager to take the reins of one of its flagship Glasgow restaurants.
This isnt just about running a shift or keeping the lights on. Its about creating an environment where your team genuinely loves coming to work, guests leave wanting to come back, and commercial performance follows because youve built a great operation.
The business has built a fantastic reputation for quality food, warm hospitality and a people:first culture. Theyre looking for someone who shares those values : a hands:on leader who loves being on the floor, developing people and driving standards every single day.
The Role
- Youll have full ownership of the restaurant, leading from the front and taking responsibility for every aspect of the operation, including:
- Leading, coaching and developing a high:performing management and front:line team.
- Driving sales, profitability and the overall commercial performance of the business.
- Taking full ownership of the P and L, labour, stock, budgets and cost control.
- Creating an exceptional guest experience that keeps people coming back.
- Building a positive, energetic culture where people are engaged, motivated and developed.
- Maintaining outstanding operational standards while continually looking for ways to improve the business.
About You
Were looking for an established General Manager who thrives in a busy, guest:focused environment and genuinely enjoys building successful teams.
Youll Bring
- Proven General Manager experience within a quality restaurant or casual dining business.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, people and delivering brilliant guest experiences.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing a full P and L.
- A hands:on leadership style : someone whos visible in the business and leads by example.
- The ability to inspire, coach and retain great people.
- Experience within branded restaurants is ideal, although high:quality independent experience will also be considered.
