Can you go an extra mile in providing your support to the needy children? Randstad Education is seeking SEND Learning Support Assistants to join dynamic secondary schools in Rainham. Whether you are an experienced LSA or a Graduate looking to gain experience in Psychology or Education, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Inclusion Support: Assist students with SEND (including ADHD, Autism, and Speech and Language needs) to engage with their lessons.
  • Behaviour Mentoring: Work with students who face social and emotional challenges, helping them stay on track and build confidence.
  • Collaboration: Partner with classroom teachers to modify learning materials and ensure every student feels included.
  • Personal Development: Run small group interventions to improve literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Background in youth work, care, sports coaching, or education is preferred.
  • Mindset: A positive, can-do attitude and a high level of resilience.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with students who may have complex needs.
  • Commitment: Available for full-time hours (Mon-Fri) during term time.
  • DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness for a new one).
