London — A GBP 55,000 plus bonus. Day time/early evening hours in a high-volume, all-day restaurant and events space in a prime London location. The role is to take full control of the operation and bring structure, accountability and consistency across the board to tighten the operation, lead properly and help the site perform as it should. Hours are a genuine selling point, predominantly daytime with no late nights, offering a better work:life balance than most General Manager roles.

The Role

  • Take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the business
  • Lead and structure the management team, holding them accountable
  • Drive standards across service, operations and administration
  • Manage rotas, labour, stock and overall cost control
  • Ensure SOPs are implemented properly and consistently followed
  • Work closely with ownership on performance and direction
  • Oversee a mix of daytime trade and high-value events
