Head First is recruiting part: time female Support Workers to provide 1:1 personalised support to a young woman in her early 40s with an acquired brain injury, based in the Forest Row area.
This is a long: term role with scope to increase hours over time as the support package develops.
About Our Client
Our client lives with her parents and is friendly, thoughtful, and warm, with a great sense of humour.
She is registered blind and experiences high levels of anxiety, so benefits from calm, patient, and consistent support.
- She Enjoys

You will work closely with a Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT), following a structured rehabilitation plan focused on confidence: building and independence.
The Role
- You Will Support With
- Day to day living and food preparation
- Using i Phones and Apple technology (apps, accessibility features)
- Organising appointments and routines
- Community access and social activities (driving required)
- Emotional reassurance and anxiety management
- Encouraging independence at the clients pace

Essential
- Previous experience in a support/care role
- Full UK driving licence, access to own car, and business: use insurance
- A calm, compassionate, and patient approach
- Ability to support someone with high levels of anxiety
- Good communication skills and a sense of humour
- Flexibility to work a varied, pre agreed shift pattern
Desirable
- Experience supporting individuals with acquired brain injury
- Experience supporting individuals who are registered blind
- Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy
- Confidence using i Phone and Apple technology
- Creativity and enthusiasm for social and leisure activities
