An outstanding SEN school in Lambeth is looking for a Food Technology teacher to join their team in the half term.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalised physical education lessons that focus on movement, enjoyment, therapy and making choices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting approaches as needed in the classroom.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development at home and in school.
  • Work with and lead a support team within the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of ASD and SLD.
  • Experience working in an SEN school is preferred but NOT essential; if you are a food technology teacher from a mainstream school, we would still like to hear from you.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
