Are you a detail-oriented finisher with a high standard of workmanship? We are looking for an experienced tradesperson to join a new build housing site in Middlesbrough for an ongoing contract role. This is a long-term position focused on the final stages of the build, ensuring every plot is handed over to the client and homeowners in show-home condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing final internal snagging lists to a high standard.
  • Adjusting doors, ironmongery, and kitchen units.
  • Fixing minor timber defects, skirting, and architrave touch-ups.
  • Mastic/silicone application to kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Identifying and rectifying defects to ensure plots are customer-ready.
  • Working closely with the Site Manager to meet strict handover deadlines.

What You’ll Need

  • Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred).
  • Proven experience in finishing and snagging on new build housing sites.
  • A full suite of your own tools (including cordless kit and fine finishing tools).
  • A keen eye for detail: you must be able to spot and fix the small things that others miss.
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
  • Reliability and a professional manner when working on-site.
