Territory: Kent, Maidstone, Royal Tunbridge Wells

Up to £39,000 basic pay (DOE) plus overtime (1.5x Monday‑Saturday, 2x Sunday), approximately £4,000‑£6,000 extra, call‑out (1/6 weekends), monthly bonus scheme. Benefits include 28 days holiday, 8 bank holidays, company pension, private medical, company vehicle, mobile phone and tablet.

Work schedule: Monday‑Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

Due to continuous sales growth, we need a Field Service Engineer to join our team—a market‑leading manufacturer and service provider of commercial industrial laundry equipment. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company that values and celebrates its team while offering job security.

Ideal candidates have experience working on electromechanical equipment, including 3‑phase systems. Gas qualification is preferred, but training will be provided.

The successful candidate will attend reactive breakdowns and provide routine maintenance to commercial laundry equipment at customer sites, aiming for a First Time Fix target of 85% or higher. Experience working with industrial equipment may also be available, depending on experience and training.

Field Service Engineer Role
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on a full range of laundry equipment.
  • Work within a 1–1.5 hour radius from home, averaging 3 to 4 jobs per day.
  • Work with 3‑phase electrics.
  • Work on commercial laundry equipment in care homes, hotels, charities, gyms, etc.
Field Service Engineer Candidate
  • Electromechanical background.
  • Ability to work efficiently to rectify breakdowns and accurately to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Electrical competence including the ability to dead‑test and carry out safe isolation.
