Field Service Engineer (Field/Mobile Mechanic/Vehicle Technician)
Location: Glasgow Territory
Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: A£31,000 – A£36,000 Starting Salary

Job Description:
Field Service Engineer role available in a market leader of forklift trucks. This role is ideal for those seeking a local field-based position with extensive training, overtime opportunities, and clear progression routes. Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with no extensive travel required.
You will be part of a team responsible for planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in Glasgow. Overtime is available, primarily during the week, and call-out is optional.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and breakdown on materials handling machinery.
- Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area.
- Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
- Ensure spares are placed in the van overnight.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with cars, HGVs, agriculture, motorbikes, plant equipment, or similar.
- Demonstrated mechanical service and repair skills.
- Ideally possess engine diagnostic and basic electrical skills.
