Join the National Police Freedom of Information and Data Protection Unit (NPFDU) as a Data Protection Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work within a national policing unit. You will provide specialist advice and support to all UK police forces regarding data protection legislation.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, maintaining, and delivering National DP Training packages to promote best practice and mitigate risk of breaches and ICO regulatory action.
- Completing all Right of Access requests for the NPCC.
- Working closely with the NPCC and external stakeholders to enable proactive data sharing practices in policing.
The role offers flexibility – you will work a minimum of 28 hours across 3–4 days. Working hours can be discussed at interview.
