My client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a dynamic team at a large static office site near Fareham, Hampshire. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a team of maintenance engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of the contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of my clients company.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance engineers on site
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of the contract
- Conduct regular inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely manner
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve maintenance processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Electrically qualified NVQ or City and Guilds equivalent 18th edition
- Proven experience in overseeing a team of maintenance engineers
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and maintenance practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
