The Role: We wish to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our Cover Team to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence and undertaking other duties such as tutor-time supervision, break/lunch duties, providing support to the Pastoral and SEND teams and administrative tasks when required to ensure consistent care, support, and continuity of learning for all our students.
Applicants must be adaptable and resilient with good interpersonal skills. The ability to gain the respect of students is essential. Applicants should ideally have had previous experience of working with young people between the ages of 11 to 16.
The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and all necessary safeguarding checks before employment commences.
