Facilities Maintenance Engineer : Abingdon, Oxford : Up to A GBP 40k per annum plus benefits

What You Will Do
- Manage the site spares strategy, ensuring the correct spares are available when needed.
- Build and maintain a network of contractors, ensuring all work adheres to RAMS and PTW processes.
- Schedule and communicate planned maintenance to minimise disruption to the facility.
- Take responsibility for the maintenance of building infrastructure, including specialist dry:room and HVAC systems.
- Oversee logistics management, including goods:in procedures, stock control, and the operation of the warehouse and workshop areas.
- Carry out small electrical and plumbing repairs, ensuring a smooth:running facility.
What You Will Bring
- Proven hands:on experience in facilities maintenance, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
- Qualifications enabling you to undertake small electrical and plumbing jobs confidently.
- Familiarity with contractor management and safety processes, including risk assessments and permits to work.
- Experience working with HVAC systems and building infrastructure maintenance.
- A proactive, can:do attitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
