Are you a skilled Fabric Engineer looking for a dynamic role in the retail sector? We are currently seeking a Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our team, covering the vibrant region from Reading to Milton Keynes and its surrounding areas.
About the Role:
As a Mobile Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional maintenance support across various retail establishments. Your primary duties will include conducting planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of building fabric elements such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, and windows. You will respond promptly to repair requests, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' retail spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on building fabric components.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to reactive maintenance requests.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of building fabric elements as needed.
- Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide excellent customer service.
- Complete relevant paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building fabric maintenance practices and techniques.

- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
