THE ROLE
The school office is at the heart of our busy, welcoming and successful school community, and we are seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Office Manager and Exams Officer to join our dedicated team.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines the management of our day:to:day office operations with responsibility for the efficient administration and delivery of all examination processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school, providing excellent support to staff, students, parents and external agencies.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, use their initiative, adapt to changing priorities and remain calm under pressure. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a commitment to providing an excellent service and maintaining high standards.
Details of the role
The Office Manager is responsible for working closely with the Leadership Team, Trust and the schools administrative team to organise and supervise administrative systems and support staff in the school office and be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial, organisational processes, always maintaining confidentiality. Also to assist with the planning and development of support services.
The Exams Officer is responsible for managing the effective and efficient management and administration of external examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations (on behalf of the JCQ member awarding bodies) and/or awarding body rules for exams administration in a consistent and secure fashion, thereby helping to maintain the integrity and security of the assessment process.

The qualifications and experience required of an Office Manager and Exams Officer are:
- A minimum of a grade C/4 in English and Maths GCSE. (all roles except cleaners and catering staff)
