Responsibilities
- Manage, lead and support the design team on a day to day basis
- Coordinate workloads and allocate resources effectively across projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Provide mentoring, guidance and ongoing support to team members
- Collaborate closely with planning and property professionals across the business
- Maintain strong technical and design quality throughout all stages of delivery
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff development activities
- Identify and implement improvements to workflows and project processes

Experience Required
- Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or qualified ARB Architect
- Previous experience leading or managing an architectural or design team
- Strong background within architecture, planning or consultancy sectors
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple live projects
- Confident liaising with clients and key stakeholders
- Experience working on rural, residential, agricultural or commercial developments is desirable
- Good understanding of planning processes, design coordination and project delivery
