Are you passionate about food innovation and looking for a role where you can bring new product ideas from concept through to production? We are working with a growing food manufacturer who is looking for an experienced R and D Technician to join their development team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating and improving a diverse range of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and improving a variety of frozen food products
- Creating prototypes and samples for customers and internal reviews
- Optimising recipes to achieve the right balance of taste, texture, quality, cost, and production efficiency
- Planning and carrying out factory trials, recording outcomes and recommending improvements
- Helping to transfer products from development kitchen to full scale production
- Working closely with QA and Technical teams to maintain product quality and food safety standards
- Preparing technical documentation including specifications, recipes, manufacturing instructions, and trial reports
About You
- A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related subject
- Previous experience within food manufacturing R and D environment
- Experience supporting factory trials and product scale up
