We are seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer to join a growing team delivering remediation and environmental improvement projects in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Engineer who enjoys a mix of site:based and technical work, contributing to sustainable land development across Leeds.

As a Environmental Engineer, you will support the delivery of contaminated land and earthworks projects, helping to return sites to safe and usable conditions. Based in Leeds, you will be involved in a range of projects and work closely with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake site investigations, sampling, and monitoring
  • Assist with the design and implementation of remediation strategies
  • Support earthworks and materials management activities
  • Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and health and safety standards
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
  • Experience in remediation or contaminated land (desirable)
  • Live within a commutable distance of their Leeds office
  • Full UK driving licence
