Overview: Residential Property Solicitor, 5+ PQE, Hertfordshire. Salary up to GBP 60,000–70,000 (DOE). A standout opportunity to join a highly regarded Chambers-ranked firm, offering exposure to a genuinely interesting and varied caseload.

The Role: The firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to manage a varied caseload of residential real estate matters from start to finish. The role requires the ability to work effectively with clients, handle challenging situations, and take ownership of matters as they arise.

  • Handle full range of residential real estate transactions, including acting for buyers and sellers on sales and purchases, landlords and tenants, development and investment work.
  • Handle cases involving licences for alterations, deeds of variation, wayleaves, options and overage arrangements, lease extensions, refinancing, and transfers of equity.

The Candidate: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' PQE, with strong technical expertise and a sound understanding of MLRO regulations, including Source of Funds and Source of Wealth checks and meticulous record-keeping.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload; client-focused and commercially aware; interest in marketing and business development.
