Key Attributes:
- Degree/HND/HNC/NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
- 2+ years of industry experience in a similar Electrical Controls role (strong graduates may also be considered)
- Confident programming of control systems from scratch (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff)
- Experience configuring Variable Speed Drives (ABB, Nidec, etc.)
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
- Full Driving Licence
Responsibilities:
- Program PLCs from scratch
- Develop HMI and SCADA applications
- Work closely with Electrical Design Engineers
- Take solutions from concept right through to commissioning
- Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Configure Variable Speed Drives
- Ensure company standards are always adhered to
- Travel to customer sites for commissioning activities
- Provide remote support for systems
- Create required documentation
