The Road Safety Markings Association (RSMA) is one of the largest specialist trade bodies in the Highways sector and plays a pivotal role in the development of the UK road marking industry.

We are a small, dynamic trade association dedicated to representing and supporting our members through advocacy, networking, events, and communications.

About You

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Engagement Administrator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be confident and competent to support communications, event coordination, manage records to support member engagement and relations, and manage day: to: day office administration.

THE JOB ROLE

This administrative role supports the activities of the membership and marketing team at the RSMA.

This includes liaising with stakeholders and external clients, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

As an Engagement Administrator you will develop and maintain good relationships with all team members and RSMA stakeholders.

This position is office: based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.

This is a new role created as our team grows, and we are looking for the right person to join us.

We can be flexible with working arrangements, including full: time or part: time hours and either a permanent or fixed: term contract.

On occasion, the role may involve travelling throughout the UK at various times of the year to represent the RSMA and our sector at highways industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective administration of RSMA membership.
  • Provide relevant information for all enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Support in the administration of all membership management, engagement and events.
  • Ensure the administration of all membership and events activities follow organisational procedures.
  • Support the Marketing and Events Assistant with external events and the RSMAs Annual Conference and Dinner.
  • Support the organisation of stakeholder forums and internal events.
  • Organise member engagement visits for the CEO and any other ad: hoc meetings.
  • Foster open communication, and promote a culture of preparedness, innovation, financial awareness, and accountability in support of all work delivered.
  • Manage office administration (i. e. checking stock and ordering consumables, troubleshooting any building maintenance issues).
  • Develop own professional capability to support planned organisational growth.
  • Support the overall aim of the organisation, taking on role relevant activities when required.
  • Work with RSMA colleagues to support RSMA member organisations.

Essential

  • Able to manage administration tasks.
  • Ability to maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent ICT skills and experience, including MS:365 and CRM systems.
  • Able to support the development of administrative systems.
  • Experienced in scheduling workloads and time management.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
  • Capable of prioritising workloads and adapting to a fluctuating work volume environment.
  • Commit to attendance at RSMA annual conference, including associated nights away from home.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel and overnight stays to industry related events in support of RSMA members and road safety marking sector interests.

DESIRABLE

  • Experienced in administration within an Association or membership organisation.
