We are looking for an experienced Gateman / Traffic Marshall to work on a brand new housing site in Ely to start Monday 17th November or ASAP.

Hourly Rate: A GBP 19 per hour: CIS

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Date Commencing: Monday 17th November 2025

Length of Contract: 6:10 months work for the right person

Hours Of Work

A 7:30am : 16:30pm

A Book 9 hours per day

Job Description

As our Gateman, you will be expected to manage the gate, deal with deliveries for materials etc, walk all lorries and plant on and off the site. You MUST have a CPCS / NPORS Traffic Marshall Card AND a current basic DBS, or apply for one immediately, to start work a little later next week.

Requirements

• A Traffic Marshall / Gateman CPCS / NPORS Card
• A Basic DBS: this is essential for this role. (You are able for one and it takes a few days)
• A Correct PPE
• Experience on housing sites

Person Specification

• Can start ASAP, preferably Monday 17 November
• Can communicate and understand using radio communications
• Willing and able to work 45 plus hours per week
• Can get to site on time and be reliable

Please Note: You will be paid via our payroll partner Marvel Payroll, and one of their Account Managers will contact you before you start work. All workers will be paid by CIS.
