Job Title: Electronics Engineer

Salary: GBP 28,000 – GBP 45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client works within the design and manufacture of electronics products across a wide range of sectors, and they are looking to take on an Electronics Engineer on a permanent basis in the Northamptonshire area.

The Electronics Engineer Will Ideally Have The Following Attributes:

• Degree / HNC / HND qualification in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering or similar, or be qualified by experience.
• Good knowledge of both electronics hardware and mechanical design.
• Excellent skills with schematic design and PCB layout.
• Ideally proficient with Altium and SolidWorks CAD software, but training could be provided if you have had experience with another software.
• Industry experience working in a similar electro-mechanical role with transferable skills.
• Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Any project engineering skills would also be desirable.
• Ideally a full UK Driving Licence.

The Electronics Engineer Role Will Involve:

• Working as part of the company’s multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Design and development of the company’s electro-mechanical components and systems using both SolidWorks and Altium.
• Schematic design and PCB layout.
• Testing prototypes to ensure reliability and to validate design concepts.
• Working on system integration.
• Ensuring that designs comply with quality and industry standards.
• Managing projects from concept through to completion.
• Ensuring all relevant documentation is created.
• Analysing electro-mechanical systems.
