This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrical installation professional to make a career change from the tools into the classroom, sharing knowledge and expertise to influence the next generation of skilled electricians. In this role you will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3, supporting study programmes, adult programmes and apprenticeships in electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional teaching and assessment across workshop and classroom environments.
- Develop creative resources to inspire outstanding learning.
- Monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
- Prepare lessons, mark assignments, set SMART targets to enable students to reach their potential.
- Collaborate with curriculum team leaders, technicians, personal development coordinators, work placement officers and other departments.
- Vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, and relevant teaching qualification and assessor award, or willingness to work toward them.
- Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths, or willingness to undertake.
- Effective and motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage learners using practical, theoretical and digital methods.
- Access to teachers pension scheme with employer contributions from 17.7% to 23.68%.
- Up to 50 days annual leave per year (35) including closure during Christmas period.
