Electrical Design Engineer

JOB – Electrical Design Engineer
LOCATION – Newcastle
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £35,000 – £50,000 per annum depending on experience

A Newcastle based engineering company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

1. HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline
2. At least 3 years’ experience in Control System design – through to commissioning
3. Strong understanding & experience working with industrial control panels
4. Proficient with AutoCAD electrical drawing package
5. PLC programming from scratch
6. Full UK driving license

The Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:

1. Creating & developing technical drawings, schematics & BoMs
2. Attending site visits when required
3. Liaising with customers & other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times
4. Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times
