The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

We are looking for a skilled and detail oriented Electrical Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with electrical components, assembling cable looms, and producing high quality wiring assemblies. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical, technical work and takes pride in delivering precise results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical components, cable looms, and wiring modules to specification
  • Solder components accurately and safely
  • Cut, strip, and crimp wires using appropriate tools
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions
  • Ensure all completed work meets quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Key Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in electrical assembly or a similar role
  • Strong soldering skills
  • Skilled in wire cutting, stripping, and crimping
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • A proactive, reliable work ethic
