Education welfare officer for an outstanding school in West London. The post is to start ASAP and will be offered on a full-time basis. The role promotes positive attitudes towards regular school attendance on the part of students and their parents/carers, improves levels of student attendance and engagement, monitors and reports on whole‑school attendance data, analyzes data to identify key areas of concern, works closely with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce levels of absence, and acts appropriately when persistent absence becomes a safeguarding issue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for supporting and monitoring attendance throughout the school.
  • Oversee the daily attendance and ensure clear communication with the admin team when absence is reported.
  • Contribute to the emotional, physical, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all students through the delivery of a variety of interventions.
  • Be an excellent role model to students through exemplary behaviour, conduct, dress, attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a school is essential.

Salary

Pay GBP140 : GBP180 per day (inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07).
